The second finalist for the position of Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs at IUP is on campus today and tomorrow to meet the university community. Meanwhile, IUP has released the names and resumes of the other finalists and announced the rescheduled visit of the first finalist, who had to postpone earlier this week due to a death in her family.
Timothy Moerland of Kent State visits the campus today for open forums from 3 to 4 PM for students, staff, and community members and from 5 to 6 PM for faculty. The forums are at the Wallwork G98 Multipurpose Room. Tomorrow, the open forums are at 11:30 and 5:30 at the Crimson Events Center at Folger Hall.
The final two candidates are Barbara Feldman and Donna Henry. IUP does not provide the university affiliations or their experience, although their information is available in their resumes, which are password-protected at iup.edu. Feldman will be on campus next Monday and Tuesday; Henry visits next Thursday and Friday.
DonnaJean Freeden, the Southern Connecticut administrator who had to postpone her visit earlier this week, has been rescheduled for October 22nd and 23rd.
