The new Sheetz along Route 22 in Burrell Township is open for business.  Many local officials, including Indiana County Commissioners Rod Ruddock and Patty Evanko attended the ribbon cutting today, joined by Sheetz Chairman Steve Sheetz.  Steve Sheetz say the new convenience store joins the Sheetz in downtown Blairsville, which was among the store chains’ first locations.

The chain now has convenience stores in six states and the Burrell Township Sheetz is the chain’s 430th store.  It is the first to feature dual drive through lanes.  Not only can you purchase MTO items in the drive through, but you can also purchase many other items, from a gallon of milk to a pack of chewing gum.

The new store is one of many Sheetz locations along Route 22 between Altoona and Pittsburgh.
