Officials came together Thursday afternoon for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining.

The company spent about a decade incubating with Kennametal in Latrobe.  Its new facility is located along Cornell Road in Blairsville, which is near WyoTech.

Officials say NCDMM is involved in further innovation in the Department of Defense and its network of contractors.

They add that, since the business is now located in Indiana County, it could have a big impact on the local economy.
