STATE ELECTION DATA SHOWS VOTER TRENDS

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette analyzed state election data and found that Pennsylvania Democrats changed registration at a higher rate than Republicans over the last four years. Since 2008, 116,739 Democrats moved over to the GOP, and 71,128 Republicans did the reverse. As of Monday, there are 8,847,093 voters in Pennsylvania. And overall Democrats lost 5.1 per cent and Republicans lost 3.5 per cent.
