There’s no telling how many of these proceedings they’ll get through, but there is a slate of at nearly 90 formal arraignments scheduled today in Indiana County Common Pleas Court.
Among them are the arraignments of Shawn Anderson-Holmes and Kayla Marie Lyons, who are accused in the death of Lyons’ son, 17-month-old Colby Jozefczyk, last March. Anderson-Holmes, who had just moved in with Lyons days before the child’s death, is charged with criminal homicide. He is due before Judge William Martin at 8:30 this morning. Lyons is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and endangering the welfare of her two children. She is to appear in court before Judge Tom Bianco this afternoon. Both defendants will be expected to enter pleas today.
Also scheduled for formal arraignment today is Anna Marie Grafton, the former Indiana County Jail guard charged with institutional sexual assault for having intimate relations with a male inmate at the jail last May. She is due before Judge Bianco this afternoon.
