Homer City Council held a town hall meeting Tuesday to find out what the citizens are concerned with in the borough.

The meeting was put on by Homer City Borough Council as a way to get information from the community on what is important, and while nothing would be acted on last night, all matters would be brought up at future borough council meetings.

Topics ranged from sidewalk repair and the Homer City business district to the police department.  Borough President Richard Morris was happy that the meeting was a very pleasant one, where no one was called out on the carpet.

Morris says that council wants to have more of these types of meetings, and are looking at this being a twice a year or a quarterly event for the borough.
