Organizers are expecting a big crowd for tonight’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” parade and Light-Up Night. The festivities start today at 4 p.m. with a free open house at the Jimmy Stewart Museum and a continuous showing of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
On North 7th Street there will be plenty of activities including marshmallow roasting, crafts, music and hayrides. The holiday parade will kick off at 7 p.m., starting at 5th Street and ending at 8th Street.
After the parade, Kelly Stewart Harcourt, who is the daughter of Jimmy Stewart, will assist in a tree lighting ceremony at the Indiana County Courthouse.
