A man died last night in a fire at his mobile home in the Chevy Chase section of White Township.  Indiana County CoronerMike Bakersays the body of 36-year-old Steven Brewer was found in the kitchen area of the trailer at 215 Lincoln Avenue and he was pronounced dead at 11:13 PM. A dog also died in the fire. Brewer’s 16-year-old son was safe with friends when the fire broke out. 

Indiana Firefighters were called at 10:14 PM and the Coral Graceton air truck was summoned at 11:05. 

An autopsy will be conducted this morning, and the cause of the fire is being investigated by the state police fire marshal.
