FEAR OF STRICT GUN LAWS LEADS TO SPIKE IN GUN SALES

Gun shop owners have reported a spike in the sale of hand guns and semi-automatic weapons; reason being is because many customers are concerned that the reelection of president Obama will bring stricter gun laws. Latrobe Army-Navy store owner Mark Boerio says there’s been an increase in the purchase of hand guns and black guns like AR-15’s weapon’s; not related to hunting but for personal security. Debbie Schultz owner of Schultz’s sportsman shop in Kiski Township says she hasn’t seen a spike in sales but says people speak their fears to her. She said it’s spilt half are worried about a potential ban of semi-automatic weapons and the other half is concerned about the direction the country is heading and want to protect themselves in case something bad would happen.
