$250K bond set for New Kensington man

A New Kensington man is in the Indiana County Jail today facing multiple felony drug charges after being found in possession of heroin at a White Township hotel.

34-year-old Barry Baker was arrested yesterday morning with 180 stamp bags of heroin, various other drugs, and over $1,300 cash.  He also had an outstanding arrest warrant against him.

Baker was arraigned before District Judge Susanne Steffee on three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver or delivery of drugs, plus a single felony count of criminal use of a communication facility, along with misdemeanor charges of possession, false ID, and disorderly conduct.

In view of the charges and the outstanding warrant, Steffee ordered Baker held at the county jail with bond set at $250,000.
