Several school boards are scheduled to meet tonight.

There are several topics up for discussion at tonight’s Indiana Area School Board meeting.  One is a Memorandum of Understanding with AFSCME for the inclusion of licensed practical nurses.  The board will also likely vote to hire a new assistant principal at the Indiana High School.  An agreement will be up for approval between the district and EnerNoc, Inc.  According to tonight’s agenda, the agreement for participation in their Demand Response program could save the district $125,000 over the next five years.  Indiana’s meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight.

A Marion Center School Board meeting is also scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m.  The board reorganized at a meeting last week, re-electing Gregg Sacco as board president and electing Charles Lavan as vice-president.  Tonight’s meeting is the final meeting of the month, and combines the monthly work session with the regular meeting.  The board will hear reports from administrators while also voting on several personnel items.

Also meeting tonight are the Purchase Line and Armstrong school boards.
