The Indiana County Commissioners approved several resolutions at Wednesday’s meeting, in order to extend fiber optic coverage to the Windy Ridge Business and Technology Park along Route 422 and the Joseph Land Development Property along Route 119 in Center Township.
The work will be paid for through grants from the Department of Community and Economic Development. The decision comes not long after the groundbreaking for the new home of Creps United Publications at Windy Ridge.
The commissioners also approved a state grant application for a bicycle and pedestrian bridge across Route 22 in Burrell Township. The bridge would be utilized by the Hoodlebug trail.
