LIONS CLUB PRESENTS 4TH OF JULY SHOW AT MACK PARK
Annual event includes demo derby, fireworks

The annual Indiana Lions Club Fourth of July celebration at Mack Park is one of the highlights of the Independence Day holiday, with activities throughout the day.

 

On the schedule is a large flea market starting at 8 AM and lasting all day in the animal barns, followed by the a pet parade at 9:30, presented by the Marion Center Lions.

 

Ticket sales for the demolition derby begin at 9 AM, and the cars start crashing at 1.  And for the second year, the event will feature lawn tractor demo derby, with as many as thirty tractors entered.  The demo derby will last into the early evening. 

 

There will be plenty of food vendors at Mack Park, along with clowns, games, entertainment, a mechanical bull, and bounce houses for the kids.

 

People start arriving for the fireworks in the early evening, usually after 6 PM, and the show begins at 9:30.
