PennDOT says a traffic pattern change originally planned for two weeks ago will go into effect on Monday for the bridge carrying Route 286 over Two Lick Creek and the railroad on the east end of Clymer.
Traffic across the bridge will be restricted to a one-lane closure controlled by temporary traffic signals. Workers will be doing paint repairs on the underside of the bridge, concrete deck repairs, and installation of an epoxy surface treatment. The project is expected to be completed before the end of September.
Thornbury, Incorporated is working on a $1.85 million contract doing repairs to various bridges in Indiana County this summer.
