A Homer City man is facing theft charges in regard to an incident that police say happened last week in Center Township.  Police say the theft happened sometime between July 9th at 4:30 a.m. and July 10th at 10:30 a.m. 


Police say 24-year-old Jearim Gonzalez of Homer City broke into a 44-year-old woman’s house in Lucernemines and stole a silver ring, silver earrings and a 14k gold necklace.  Furthermore, police say Gonzalez sold the items at a local jewelry store.  He’s facing charges of theft and theft by deception.
