Several pieces of Indiana's Zoning could be re-vamped in the near future.  At last night's Indiana Borough Planning Commission Meeting, the commission began discussion to update several pieces pf the zoning ordinance, including changes to two residential zone types, one commercial zone type, one public zone type, and the former Traditional Neighborhood Development overlay zone.

Commission members said that the re-vamps would smooth out inconsistencies between the zones and definitions.  There was no further discussion at last night’s meeting about a $500,000 grant from State Sen. Don White and State Representative Dave Reed that would be used for projects at the Indiana Free Library building.  As were reported yesterday, borough officials are awaiting further direction from library officials.
