The Homer-Center School District in cooperation with, and following the recommendations of Homer City Borough officials, announce the following plans regarding parking and traffic restrictions on the streets of Bryan, Harrison and Lincoln immediately around the Memorial Field Football stadium.  These plans and restrictions will be activated Friday, October 25 starting at 5:00 p.m. prior to the football contest between Penns Manor and Homer-Center and are intended to increase safety for all spectators and to assure open lanes of travel for emergency vehicles. These restrictions do not apply to residents living on these streets.

Parking on Lincoln Street will be restricted to the east side of Lincoln Street.  Parking on Harrison Street will be for Penns Manor buses.  There will be no parking on Bryan Street.  All handicapped spectators and all others electing to park at the limited-space stadium/community pool parking lot off Harrison Street are directed to approach the stadium from South Main Street onto Harrison.  Officers will be stationed on Harrison Street to direct spectators to the appropriate parking area.  Once the stadium/community pool parking lot is full, officers will block Harrison Street and only handicap spectators will be permitted onto Harrison Street.  All handicapped spectators must have a valid placard and/or plated vehicle to access the handicap parking areas.

Spectators are reminded and encouraged to park at the Homer-Center School District campus parking lots.  Officers will be at the campus parking lots beginning at 5:30 p.m. to direct spectators.

All spectators are reminded gates will open at 5:45 p.m. Senior Night recognition ceremonies for Homer-Center football players will begin at 6:35 p.m.  Kickoff is slated at 7:00 p.m. To ease the wait-lines at the ticket booths Friday evening, Penns Manor and Homer-Center are selling pre-sale game tickets at each respective school.  Pre-Sale tickets are on sale each day from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. until Thursday, Oct 24.  Ticket costs during the pre-sale and at the gates are $4.00 adults and $2.00 for students.
