TWO PEOPLE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN A PUNXSUTAWNEY HOUSE FIRE

In Punxsutawney Saturday, Nov. 9, two people were seriously injured in a house fire. A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the 7:30 a.m. blaze on Pine Street.  The homeowner, 47-year-old Kimberly Stormer, and her 17-year-old son were injured escaping the house and were flown from Punxsutawney Area Hospital to UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.  21-year-old Destiny Kephart also lived at the home, and she, a 13-year-old boy and a one-year-old boy were all treated at the local hospital and released.
