Shortly after 2:00 this morning, a car followed a 20-year-old man from a traffic light at 7th and Philadelphia in Indiana Borough to the Maple Street Apartments in the township.  Police say the suspect got out of the car and approached the victim and hit him in the head.  When the victim fell to the ground, the suspect continued to strike him and then pulled a handgun and shot the victim in the leg. A male passenger in the suspect’s vehicle witnessed the assault and fled on foot, while the suspect fled in his car.
