Details not released

Nurses at the Indiana Regional Medical Center have approved a new contract.  The agreement was reached last week after a 32-hour bargaining session on the weekend prior to the old contract’s January 20th expiration.  No details on the settlement have been released yet.  IRMC spokesman Mark Richards says he is working on an official news release.

The Indiana Registered Nurses Association/Healthcare-PSEA represents about 300 nurses and certified nurse anesthetists at IRMC.

Union leaders met with their members on Tuesday and the vote was held yesterday.  The margin of approval has not been announced.
