Hello, I am Christina Cohn, the Indiana County Dairy Princess (2011-2012). I am a fourth generation dairy farmer. My great grandparents purchased the farm in 1934 and it has been in business for 78 years.
I am the daughter of the late Sean Cohn and Barbara and Mark Woods, and I have two brothers.
I had the privilege to grow up on a dairy farm. At the age of three, I had my first pair of muck boots and helped my grandfather water the calves. I have been a dairy maid for Indiana County for the past two years. I really appreciate the dairy industry. I really LOVE milk.
I enjoy shopping, knitting, crocheting, dancing, fishing, and baking chocolate chip cookies to go with my milk. I'm active in my church, I teach faith formation and I'm part of the Legion of Mary. I'm a Girl Scout and participate in school musicals.
I was in 4-H sewing club. I took ballet for seven years. I rode an elephant and in a hot air ballon featured on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, but my favorite is riding on a big red tractor.
I was honored to be chosen as Indiana County Dairy Princess. I am very excited to start my reign.
See you this summer and keep cool with a delicious dish of ice cream! (June 2, 2011)
