The Indiana girls' basketball team lost to General McLane, 56-36, Saturday at Sharon High School in the PIAA Class AAA state playoffs.
On Wednesday, Indiana beat Mt. Pleasant, 50-42, at UPJ in the second round. The Indians beat Westinghouse, 57-55, last Saturday in the first round of the Class AAA state playoffs, winning on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Kristin Brice.
The Homer-Center boys' state playoff run ended in the second round with a 59-56 loss to Elk County Christian Tuesday night at DuBois High School. The Wildcats, the District 6 Class A champions beat Vision Quest, 51-46, Friday at IUP in the first round of the state playoffs.
Marion Center beat Everett Area, 56-39, Tuesday at Marion Center in a play-in game for the Class AA girls' state playoffs on Tuesday.

Homer-Center defeated Bishop Carroll, 48-38, to win the District 6 Class A championship Saturday afternoon at IUP.
The Wildcats edged Harmony, 58-57, in the District 6 Class A semifinals Wednesday at Richland High School and salvaged another otherwise bad week for local teams.
The Indiana Girls lost to West Mifflin, 54-40, Tuesday at North Hills High school in the semifinal round of the WPIAL AAA playoffs, though the Indians still have a berth in the state playoffs.
Also Tuesday at Central Cambria, the Marion Center girls lost to Bishop McCort, 66-55, in the District 6 Class AA semifinals and the United boys lost to Cambria Heights, 53-35, in the District 6 Class AA semifinals.
