Danny Ferens
Penns Manor Junior Quarterback/Cornerback/Punter
Ferens led the Comets to a 12-2 record, Penns Manor's first District 6 Class A championship, its first state playoff win and its first appearance in the PIAA Class A Western Final. Ferens completed 45 of 90 passes for 629 yards and 11 touchdowns. He made a much bigger splash as a rusher, gaining 2,129 yards on 251 carries and scoring 27 touchdowns. He lined to receive four passes for 137 and two more touchdowns. Ferens returned punts and kicks for an average of 12.9 yards per attempt and averaged 33.67 yards when he punted. Finally, Ferens recorded 46 tackles, 21 assists and two sacks on defense.
And the scary part for Heritage Conference opponents ... he still has one more year to play.
