INDIANA, Pa. - 175 IUP student-athletes have earned  Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete recognition for 2015-16 year. These IUP students make up yet another scholar-athlete record of 2,819 students in 18 universities in the conference, breaking the previous record of 2,691. Any PSAC student-athlete – regardless of class – with a 3.25 cumulative grade point average earns scholar-athlete honors from the conference.

INDIANA, Pa. – Eight finalists have been named for the 2015-16 IUP Men's and Women's Athlete of the Year. The award is given each year to the top men's and women's student-athlete at IUP. This year's winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 15.  

IUP Athletics had another outstanding year on the field, court, pool and classroom in 2015-16. Several teams advanced to postseason play, while All-Americans, record-setting performances, and scholar awards helped the Crimson Hawks continue to be one of the top programs in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

INDIANA, Pa. – With 20 starters set to return from last year's NCAA playoff team, IUP opens the 2016 season ranked No. 4 in the Division II top 25 by The Sporting News in its college football preview issue. In addition, senior offensive guard Ethan Cooper (Steelton, Pa. /Central Dauphin East) is on the Sporting News preseason All-American team.  

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – IUP moved up one spot to finish in fifth place in the final 2015-16 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Dixon Trophy standings, which were released by the league on Tuesday afternoon.

INDIANA, Pa. - IUP has announced its 2016 Athletics Hall of Fame induction class. The class of 14 individuals will be inducted at a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 1 prior to the Crimson Hawks' home football game against Seton Hill. 

INDIANA, Pa. – IUP head football coach Curt Cignetti has announced the hiring of Mike Shanahan as the new wide receivers coach for the Crimson Hawks. Shanahan comes to IUP from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was the offensive graduate assistant for the Panthers during the 2015 season.
