First Commonwealth Bank announced on Thursday upgrades to their digital banking platforms for both personal and business customers.
According to a news release, the new digital platforms are part of First Commonwealth Bank’s THRIVE initiative, which is set to reduce operating expenses and invest in growth opportunities, including the expansion of digital banking.
The new personal digital platform will allow people to check their accounts from personal computer, smartphone or tablet faster than before and will utilize Zelle as a way to send person to person payments directly to another Zelle account holder. It will also include enhanced security features including two-factor authentication and biometric identification options.
On the business side, the bank introduced online treasury services in the summer, and it will allow for a customizable customer interface and intuitive payment processing.
