The final is set for the Indiana Optimist Club basketball tournament.
Indiana beat River Valley last night, 75-63. Stanford Webb led the way with 22 points and Evan Brocious scored 21. River Valley’s Dom Speal led all scorers with 29, and Jaden Whitfield and Cole Citeroni each had 12.
Indiana will play Penns Manor for the title after the Comets knocked off West Shamokin, 60-39. Ryan Gresko and Max Hill each scored 11 points and Ashton Courvina had 10. West Shamokin was led by Braydon Rodgers with 17.
The schedule for Saturday at Indiana High includes championship game between Indiana and Penns Manor at 2 o’clock, followed by the two games for this year’s senior all-stars. The girls play at 3:30 and the boys at 5 o’clock.
