Multiple fire departments were called out late last night for a structure fire in Blairsville Borough.
Indiana County 911 dispatched the Blairsville, Black Lick, Homer City, and Indiana fire departments around 9:14 p.m. for a reported fire at the Blue Diamond Bar in Blairsville Borough. Black Lick fire officials said in a Facebook post that crews spotted a light haze inside the building upon arrival and they quickly discovered that it was a malfunctioning furnace.
Crews were able to control the fire within a matter of minutes. It’s not known how much damage was done or if there were any injuries.
