Jeffrey Gene Smith, 61, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The son of Norman and Helen Smith, he was born February 6, 1962.
Jeffrey had been a resident of Johnsonburg 16 years prior to moving to Indiana.
Jeffrey had a great sense of humor and was often referred to as Santa’s brother. He enjoyed ringing the bell for the Salvation Army and when he was younger liked to hunt and fish.
Surviving is his father, Norman Smith, Blairsville; children, Jeffrey Smith Jr. and Autumn Smith, both of Indiana; grandchildren, Braden Smith, Abbigail Harris, and Summer Nesbit; girlfriend, Rebecca Voorhies, Indiana; sister, and Selena Smith, Blairsville.
Preceding Jeffrey in death was his mother; and brothers, Wesley and David.
