Marjorie (Fowler) Peffer, 94, of Indiana, passed away on January 18, 2024. She was born in Indiana, on May 31, 1929, to the late Edson and Mary (Fulton) Fowler. Marjorie graduated from Indiana High School and worked as an office clerk for Rural Electric. She was a resident of Indiana her entire life.
Marjorie enjoyed traveling and knitting. She proudly knitted Christmas stockings for all her family and friends throughout the years.
In her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for THE IRMC Hospital Auxiliary and the Indiana Veterans Toys for Tots program.
Surviving Marjorie are her nieces Debbie Buggey, Donna McKelvy, and Darcie Bogan; nephew Bill Fowler; cousins Rodney Ruddock, Chip and Terry Ruddock, Lu Ann Ganley; a special step-grandson Jake Jones; special friend Mary Pearce; as well as numerous stepchildren and step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband William H. Jones, her second husband Harvey R. Peffer, her brother William F. Fowler, and cousin Robert Ruddock.
At Marjorie’s request, all services will be private and have been entrusted to the care of the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
