Beverly Jo Uher, 88, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, while at the Communities at Indian Haven.
The daughter of Henry Milton and Bessie Mildred (Campbell) Turnbull, she was born October 28, 1935 in Indiana, PA.
Beverly was a 1953 graduate of Laura Lamar High School and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She had been employed many years as a nurse and afterward managed a bakery at the Regency Mall. Beverly loved southern gospel music and attending gospel concerts.
Beverly was a magnificent cook, wrote two books on cooking and also had a cooking TV show. She was well noted in her neighborhood for her delicious fudge.
In her free time, she enjoyed sports and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are her children, Robert D. (Cynthia) Uher, and Cheryl (Daniel) Hilliard, both of Indiana; grandchildren, Lyndee (Doug) Fischer, New Florence, Ian (Joey) Uher, Mars, PA, Joshua (Reina) Hilliard, S.C., and Matthew (Lindsey) Hilliard, Clymer; great grandchildren, Garin and Hope Fischer, Bryan, Dylan, Jordyn Uher and Joseph Hilliard; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Beverly in death were her parents; husband, Joseph Uher Jr.; brothers, Kenneth and Lynn; and a sister, Glenna Little.

A Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, January 27th at the Calvary Baptist Church, Clymer Pa., at 5pm.
