Indiana County 911 dispatched Marion Center and Plumville firefighters, Citizens’ Ambulance and state police to a two-vehicle crash along Route 403 North shortly before 3:30. Marion Center assistant fire chief Gavin Misko said one person attempted to pull out onto Route 119 from 403 when it was struck in the front driver side by a car headed south.
One person, an unnamed man, was initially trapped in his car but firefighters were able to pull him out quickly. He and an unnamed woman were both flown to a medical facility for treatment of severe injuries.
A portion of 119 was closed for approximately an hour and a half as crews cleared the roadway. State police have not released an official crash report yet.
