State police have issued reports on several recent accidents.
36-year-old Meghann Zerbe of Northern Cambria was treated at IRMC for facial injuries last Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on the Route 553 off-ramp of Route 422 in Cherryhill Township. Zerbe’s SUV slid off the slush-covered ramp into a culvert.
21-year-old Isaac Haycisak of Summerhill, Cambria County, escaped injury last Sunday when he lost control of his car in poor road conditions on Route 56 in Brush Valley Township, traveling off the highway and striking a utility pole and a PennDOT sign.
18-year-old Jayden Eley of Youngstown, Ohio, was uninjured last Sunday when his eastbound car spun out on snowy Route 422, just off Oakland Avenue in White Township, crashing into a guide rail and spinning across the median to the westbound lane.
57-year-old Robert Moran of Indiana escaped injury early last Monday when he lost control of his car on Slippery South 6th Street in White Township, striking the guide rail off the westbound lane.
One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on February 25th on Route 156 in Armstrong Township. Police say an SUV driven by 37-year-old Marc Sell of Indiana crossed the centerline and collided with a Jeep driven by 69-year-old Carl Stevens of Shelocta. Stevens was taken to IRMC for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
