One of the suspects charged with stealing and burning a car last year is due in Indiana County Court today for a pre-trial conference.
Court documents show 47-year-old Matthew Lee Smith of Indiana will have his conference this morning. He and 28-year-old Austin Milanos were charged with reckless burning and exploding, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct after they allegedly stole a vehicle from Indiana Borough in September and drove it to a pull-off near a railroad crossing south of Route 110, doused it in gas and set it on fire using lit paper towels.
Smith was hurt in the incident and treated at Indiana Regional Medical Center before being placed in Indiana County Jail.
