Michael Lawrence Lebbano, 80, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Michael was born to the late Michael and Dorothy Lebbano on March 2, 1944, in Wilkinsburg.
Mike attended St. Thomas More University Parish in Indiana. He loved the Lord and now rests in his care. Mike proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a Postal Worker.
Mike was described by his wife as a gentle soul. He treated all with kindness and caring. His favorite past time was sports, discussing sports with his grandson, and walking his favorite four-footed friends, Mystie and Heidi.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carole Cessna Lebbano; his stepchildren, Gregory D. Cessna and wife Denise, of Ala.; Debra Cessna Rickard and husband Robert, of Indiana; his sisters, Barb Thomas, of Jeannette; Anita Hixenbaugh, of WV; Jean Bostido, of Saltsburg; and many nieces and nephews. Mike was loved by his grandchildren, Matthew Cessna and wife Lisa, of Atlanta, GA; Christopher Cessna and wife Lauren, of Atlanta, GA; Rebecca Butcher and husband Chris, of Atlanta, GA; Ashley Brichetto and husband Peter, of OH; Robert A. Rickard and wife Elizabeth, of Pittsburgh; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Lebbano; and his first wife, Sandra.
Visitation is private and will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held in June 2024. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to Mike’s favorite charity, Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
