A holiday tradition to help the armed forces will continue today at Mytrysak Family Tree Farm.
Today marks the annual Trees For Troops day at the farm along Fleming Road in Indiana. During the event, those attending can donate a Christmas Tree to the program which will go to 70 military bases in the United States and overseas. Each tree will have a special tag that you can write a message to the recipients. The farm will also offer live music, wagon rides, an opportunity to meet a soldier and members of the Johnstown Generals hockey team.
The event runs today from 10 to 5 at the tree farm. If you can’t make it, you can make the donation over the phone by calling 724-463-0570.
