Last night, the Center Township Supervisors announced a vacancy on the Homer-Center Parks and Recreation Board.
The opening of the position was due to the resignation of Tom Bessell. The main requirement is that his replacement be someone from Center Township. Any interested applicant can call the township office.
The township supervisors also approved bids for materials for projects to be run throughout the summer months. Winning bids were made by Pleasant Supply for pipe and catch basins, Davis Transport for stone and Accent Fuels for diesel fuel.
