Troopers in Indiana County responded to numerous crashes and disabled vehicles as a winter storm brought snowfall to the region today.
As of 10:00 a.m., members of the Troop A, Indiana Patrol Unit have responded to at least 13 crashes, one of which resulted in injury. In three of the 13 crashes, the involved vehicle was gone upon the Trooper’s arrival.
One crash scene remains active while all other crash scenes have since been cleared.
Troopers have also responded to at least 13 reports of a disabled vehicle or vehicles.
The Indiana County Emergency Management Agency/911, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Citizens’ Ambulance Service, and several volunteer fire departments also provided assistance.
