Three vehicle accidents were reported in a 24-hour time span in Indiana County.
The first was at 3:31 PM on Tipperary Road in Green Township. Commodore and Pine Township fire departments were sent out at the time. The next would be about four hours later on Route 403 North in Pine Township. Crews from the Pine Township and Cherryhill Township fire departments were sent out at the time. The third was at 3:39 this morning, this time in the southbound lanes of 403 in East Wheatfield Township. Armagh/East Wheatfield fire department was sent out with Citizen’s Ambulance and state police.
Details on the crashes have not been released.
Fire crews were also sent out this morning for a structure fire at 1:49 this morning. The fire was reported on Johnston Road in Washington Township. Creekside, Plumville, Marion Center, Indiana, Elderton and Clymer fire departments were sent out along with Indiana County’s Emergency Management Agency. Marion Center fire officials said on the department’s Facebook page that the fire was at a barn. No other details were released.
