A Commodore man was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center with suspected minor injuries after police say he pulled into the path of another vehicle on State Route 286 Saturday evening.
Pennsylvania State Police report that Michael S. Fairbanks, 47, entered the highway from Larch Avenue without ensuring it was clear and was struck by a Dodge Ram driven by 45-year-old James E. Overman of Clymer.
Fairbanks’ Toyota sustained disabling damage and hit a street sign after the impact. Overman and three passengers were uninjured.
Fairbanks is expected to be cited for driving without a required license.
