Three people were sentenced yesterday in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas, including a Pittsburgh man who tried to evade police in 2023.
Court documents show 21-year-old Laurence G. Short, Jr. of Pittsburgh was ordered to serve three years of probation for a charge of possession of an instrument of crime and two years for evading arrest for the incident in White Township. The two probation periods will run concurrently.
Also sentenced yesterday was 44-year-old Sheena Gibson of New Cumberland for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia from 2023. She was placed on probation for one year.
And 22-year-old Caleb Collins of Saltsburg was ordered to serve six months of probation for a count of fleeing or eluding police from earlier this year.
