More information on a four-vehicle crash on Route 422 in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County has been released.
State Police from the Kittanning Barracks were notified of the crash on 422 south of Steffy Drive at 3:56 PM. 21-year-old Dominic Troutman of Kittanning was driving an SUV southeast when he went into the opposite lane and sideswiped another SUV driven by Caroline Veronesi of Butler. Troutman’s car continued on, hit a guide rail and collided with two pickup trucks driven by Cory Wells and David Henderson, both of Creekside.
Troutman and Veronesi were flown to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment of injuries. Charges against Troutman are pending the results of the state police investigation.
