Three of IUP’s graduate programs have been selected by U.S. News and World Report for the 2026 best online programs rankings.
The list honors the criminal justice, nursing and education programs. The list was compiled from over 1850 programs across the nation and were ranked on the program’s overall quality. The online criminal justice master’s program was the highest ranked of the three, coming in at 23rd.
The recognition comes on the heels of IUP’s selection for the publication’s 2026 Best Colleges national universities ranking, where IUP’s undergraduate business, computer science, psychology, and nursing programs were selected for listing of “Top Public Schools” and the university was recognized in the “Top Performers on Social Mobility” listing.
