Indiana Borough Police assisted the U.S. Marshals Service Wednesday morning while they searched for a wanted person near the 500 block of Church Street.
Police say the assistance happened around 11:34 a.m. and involved efforts to locate a person believed to be in the area.
Authorities emphasized there is no risk to public safety and say they will notify the community if any emergency situation arises.
