It seems every day we get more good news about former Indiana County standouts playing in the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament. In addition to former Homer-Center grad Alaina Fabin’s Penn State Behrend and ex-Indiana star Katie Kovalchick with Washington & Jefferson, another outstanding Indiana High grad, Hope Cook, is heading into the tournament with Messiah University.
Cook nailed six three-pointers and finished with 19 points in the Middle Atlantic Conference championship game, a 76-72 win over Widner. The 23-4 Falcons will open the tournament against Cortland in New York City on Friday.
