Sidney Crosby did not play again last night, missing his sixth straight game coming out of the Olympic break, and the Penguins couldn’t keep up with the Vegas Golden Knights. Paul Steigerwald has the recap.
Crosby is edging ever closer to returning. Steigerwald says he is “likely” to play tomorrow night in Utah. Forward Justin Brazeau and defenseman Sam Girard also sat out with undisclosed injuries. Defenseman Ryan Graves was sent to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on a conditioning assignment and defenseman Alex Alexeyev was recalled. He did not play last night.
