High school baseball and softball begins today in the Heritage Conference.
In baseball, Homer-Center visits Conemaugh Township, West Shamokin plays host to Cambria Heights, and River Valley visits Northern Cambria. In non-conference baseball, Portage travels to Northern Bedford County, and Conemaugh Valley plays Windber.
In softball, Homer-Center travels to Conemaugh Township, and in non-conference play, West Shamokin is at Apollo Ridge, Northern Cambria is at Blacklick Valley, and Portage is at Northern Bedford County.
Also in softball, Indiana opens its WPIAL schedule with a Section game at Greensburg Salem.
