Marion Center, Plumville, and Creekside firefighters, along with Punxsutawney’s Central Fire Company and other water rescue units were summoned on Saturday for a water rescue operation in Grant Township, and a man is reportedly still missing.
The dispatch came at about 6:50 PM for Nashville Road at Hetzler Road/Birch Lane and reportedly involved an overturned canoe that was found, but the man who was in the canoe was not there and had not been located as of this morning.
