After going 2-for-18 with runners in scoring position on Sunday against the Mets, the Pirates were 0-for-6 last night. Manager Donnie Kelly says he believes in the Pirates offense, despite the early-season struggles.
Kelly liked what he saw from right-hander Braxton Ashcraft in his first start of the year.
