PennDOT is announcing a lane restriction will start next week on Route 119 between Craig Road and Washington Road in Rayne Township.
The single-lane restriction will be put in place on an as-needed basis as crews perform geotechnical core boring. This is a sampling technique used to research mineral resources in the subsoil by boring cylinder-shaped holes to analyze the ground from a cylinder they are able to extract.
Work will be weather dependent. The project is expected to run April 28th to May 15th from 8 AM to 4 PM each day.
