Indiana County first responders dealt with two vehicle crashes yesterday.
The first was reported just before noon on Wednesday on a stretch of Route 403 North in East Mahoning Township. Marion Center and Plumville Fire Departments were dispatched by Indiana County 911 along with State Police and Citizen’s Ambulance. Initial reports from the Marion Center Fire Department’s Facebook page said that injuries were confirmed, but other details have not been released.
The Indiana Fire Association’s Rescue Squad were called into action yesterday for a crash reported as two pickup trucks collided at the intersection of Route 286 and Airport Road in White Township. Fire officials say one truck ended up in the turning lane from 286 Westbound while the other truck spun out and ended up on the shoulder of 286 West. No injuries were reported. Both trucks had to be towed.
